Congratulations to Grier van Rooyen on the lease of Universal Sound. This special pony was 6th place overall in the large green pony hunters at Pony Finals this year. Signature Stables had a stellar week at the Princeton Summer Encore August 23-27.
Jenn started the week earning well deserved ribbons on all the horses. She and 🌻 Clair de Lune earned the Championship title in the 2’9” USHJA Hunters. Jenn also rode 🌻 Biarritz to the 3’3” Performance Hunter Reserve Championship.
Additionally, owner 🌻 Laura van Rooyen rode Biarritz to the Reserve Championship in the 3’3” A/O Hunters. She also rode 🌻 Gandalf to a second place finish in the A/A Hunters older section. Laura put in wonderful trips in the Adult Medals on the Stefano Baruzzo LLC owned 🌻 Uruguay. Including a pair of seconds.
🌻Amor De Tortuga 🐢 and rider Grier van Rooyen weren’t going to be left in the dust. The pair earned the Children’s Pony Hunter Championship, won the Children’s Pony Medal & won the Children’s Pony Hunter Classic 🤩 Grier also rode 🌻 All Inclusive to the Reserve Championship in the Children’s Pony Hunters. And Laura Richardson rode her lovely mare 🌻 Deva to nice trips in the Low Adult Hunters.

We could not have asked for a better first Pony Finals for Grier van Rooyen! Grier and her pony All Inclusive qualified for both the Medium Pony Hunter division and the Pony Medal Finals. The pair did very well in their hunter classes in the Rolex Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. They went on to lay down a beautiful first trip in the Medal Finals held in the Alltech Arena. They made the cut to the second round and finished 20th out of the 187 riders who qualified throughout the country. We are so proud of Grier for her wonderful rides on Ali at her first National Championship!
The Signature Team had another wonderful week at the Vermont Summer Festival week 3. Jenn started the week off again with a bang with solid rides and ribbons in the professional divisions. The Signature riders kept the momentum going throughout the week and rode to much success!
🏆 Rio Java House was a little greedy this week by taking the win in three out of four over fence classes in the Adult Amateur Hunter 👍 division. Maggie Greene and Java secured the win in the Classic as well!
🏆Amor De Tortuga is on fire 🔥 He and Grier van Rooyen rode to the Championship in the Schooling Pony Hunters as well as the Children’s Large Pony Hunters. The pair earned third in their Classic!
🏆Biarritz wasn’t leaving the show without another tri-color. He and Laura van Rooyen jumped to the 3’3” Amateur Owner Hunter Reserve Championship. The pair were second in their Classic!
🏆Laura van Rooyen also rode Uruguay owned by Stefano Baruzzo, LLC to the win in the USHJA Adult Jumping Seat Medal. This qualifies Laura for the Finals in September!
