Great visit from Signature Stables Alum, Sarah Stein York. Now 30, she rode with Jenn from the age of 9 to 17. Today she is on the great pony Turtle and here is a picture of her on her own Tappen Zee. Sarah & Tappy had great results in the Large Pony Hunters at Pony Finals, The National Horse Show, Lake Placid, Vermont Summer Festival etc. Sarah is riding in MA and was back to visit her family, we are so happy to have seen her!

The National Horse Show in Kentucky

We wrapped up a wonderful finals season with Laura van Rooyen and Biarritz at the National Horse Show in Kentucky. The pair competed in the $10,000 National Horse Show Adult Amateur Hunter Classic where they laid down two beautiful trips of 82.5 and 89, earning them 3rd place in good competition. We are so proud of all this pair has accomplished in a short amount of time and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

As always, thank you to our incredible sponsors we appreciate all you do!

The National PHA Horse Show

Congratulations to our riders on a great weekend at the National PHA Horse Show!

Grier van Rooyen and Amor de Tortuga had a great last showing in the Short Stirrup division. They were 1st in the medal warmup with a score of 86, and 3rd in the final. The next day they headed into the Short Stirrup hunters and were 1st and 2nd over fences and 1st in the hack, making them the overall champion.

Anastasia Klyashtorny and Fantastique competed in the 3’ Children’s Medal with a 3rd in the warmup and a 4th in the final in good company. This qualified her for the Equitation Challenge where her and Tiki went on to finish 4th as well. These two also had a solid showing in the 3’ Children’s Hunter with an 8th and 3rd over fences and 1st in the under saddle.

We are so proud of both of these riders and excited to see what the future holds for them! Thank you to the Professional Horsemen’s Association and Gardnertown Farms for putting on a great show and our sponsors for all they do for us 🎉🦄🤍

Congratulations to Laura van Rooyen and her partner Gandalf

We are very proud of Laura van Rooyen and her partner Gandalf who qualified for and competed in the THIS Adult Medal Finals held at the National Horse Show last week!

They put in a beautiful trip over a very technical course, and had a great experience. This final is a big accomplishment for both Laura and Gandalf, being that last October Laura came back to riding after a 29 year hiatus and Gandalf was just learning the ropes of the hunter and equitation ring.

As always, thank you to our incredible sponsors for helping us look sharp for occasions such as this one, we appreciate all you do!

Zone 2 Finals

Today we wrapped up our time at Zone 2 Finals, and what a ride it’s been!

Laura van Rooyen and Biarritz had a great showing in the Adult Amateur Hunter Middle division, with a win in the hack and beautiful trips in a competitive field of horses.
Laura and Biarritz ended up Champion and took home the Significant Other Challenge Trophy and we couldn’t be more proud of this pair!

She has been working very hard to prepare for this show and been learning and growing with Biarritz who is a new partner for her. Having never been to the Penn National or Zones before, this was a big occasion for her and we wish her well on all she’s accomplished this weekend.

Special thank you to Lena for all her help and hard work to keep our horses looking and feeling their best!

Next up, The National Horse Show in Kentucky ✈️
