Our team has had a fantastic few weeks showing at both HITS Ocala and WEC Ocala, with great rounds, top ribbons, and exciting new partnerships developing across the hunters, jumpers, and equitation rings.
Ocala Winter Finals
At HITS Ocala Winter Finals, Grier Van Rooyen took over the reins in the Children’s Hunter 14 & Under division aboard her mom’s Serendipity. The pair earned several top ribbons throughout the week, including 2nd, 3rd, as well as 5th in the Classic. Grier also stepped into the equitation ring with Cheiser B, swapping the jumper ring for the equitation ring, finishing 8th in the NHS Junior 3’3” Medal.
Laura Van Rooyen had a strong performance on Saturday in the Ariat Adult Medal aboard Evito Sun Z, earning 3rd place out of a large and competitive group.

Ocala Winter Celebration
The following week during the Ocala Winter Celebration, our riders were busy across the jumper and equitation rings.
Colette Arslanian showed both of her mounts in the Jr/Am jumper divisions. She piloted Fontaines Z in the .80m and Old Fashioned in the .90m for consistent rounds and 6th and 8th place finishes. We love seeing these partnerships continue to develop.
Grier Van Rooyen debuted her new jumper, Speculation, in the Jr/Am .90m jumpers with immediate success, earning 2nd and 4th place ribbons in a large class. Congratulations to Grier on this exciting new partnership—we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this pair.
Grier also had a successful week with Cheiser B, competing in both the .90m and 1.0m Jr/Am jumper divisions and earning 2nd and 3rd place finishes.
Meanwhile, Evito Sun Z pulled double duty in the equitation ring, helping both Laura and Grier secure top placings. The pair earned 4th in the THIS Children’s Medal, 8th in the NHS Junior 3’3” Medal, and 7th in the Ariat Adult Medal with Laura.
WEC Ocala Spectacular IX & XI
While part of the team was competing at HITS, our professional hunters were shining at WEC Ocala.
Serendipity, ridden by Michael Andrade, received outstanding scores in the Green Conformation Hunters, winning two classes during Week 9. The pair returned Week 11 to continue their success, earning Reserve Champion both weeks. This stunning hunter is currently available for purchase—contact us for more information.

Another highlight came from 007 Golden Eye and Michael Andrade, who secured top scores in the Green 3’3” Hunters both weeks, earning excellent ribbons out of large, competitive groups. We are incredibly proud of this young hunter’s consistent progress throughout the winter circuit.
Looking Ahead
With just a few weeks remaining in this year’s winter circuit, we are excited to finish the season strong. A big thank you to Brooke for managing the hunters at WEC while part of the team competed at HITS, and to our incredible staff for their hard work and dedication behind the scenes.
Let’s make these final weeks count!
